Local insurance refers to a plan where you pay upfront for treatment and then submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Insurance Requiring a Guarantee of Payment (GOP)（※）
- AIG General Insurance, Sompo Japan Insurance, H.S. Insurance, and International SOS all require a Guarantee of Payment (GOP).
- For AIG General Insurance, one GOP per symptom is required per month. Even if the treatment continues into the next month, only the initial GOP is needed for that symptom.
- For Sompo Japan and H.S. Insurance, even for the same symptom, a new GOP must be obtained at the beginning of each new month if the treatment spans across months.
- International SOS also requires a GOP for every visit, and each GOP must clearly state the guaranteed amount of payment.
- A GOP (Guarantee of Payment) is a guarantee letter issued by your insurance company to our clinic, confirming coverage for your consultation fees.
- We kindly ask that patients contact their insurance provider directly by phone to request the GOP.
The insurance company will then send the GOP via email to our clinic prior to your visit. - Please note that you must present your insurance policy document at your first visit, and also whenever there is a change or renewal in your insurance plan.
Local Insurance Plan
For patients with local insurance plans, payment in full is generally required at the time of your visit.
You will need to submit a reimbursement claim directly to your insurance provider for any medical expenses incurred.
Step-by-Step Reimbursement Process
- You will be required to pay the full consultation fee at our clinic at the time of your visit.
- After the consultation, our doctor will complete the physician section of your insurance claim form, which will be returned to you.
- Please fill out the patient section of the claim form yourself, and submit it to your insurance company along with any additional documents they require.
- Once the insurance company has completed their review, you will be reimbursed based on the coverage rate defined in your insurance plan.
Please note that due to patient privacy regulations, our clinic cannot verify the details or coverage limits of your insurance plan.
We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance provider directly before your visit to confirm whether your treatment will be covered.
Please understand that our clinic cannot be held responsible if your insurance provider later determines that your treatment was not eligible for reimbursement due to incomplete verification on your part.
Accepted Payment Options
If you are covered under a cashless insurance plan, we will bill your insurance provider directly.
There is no need for you to make any payment at the clinic at the time of your visit.
